AJ Davidsen
AJ Davidsen
AJ Davidsen was born and raised in Calgary Alberta, Canada. He received a bachelor's degree in music education from BYU-Idaho with an emphasis on jazz piano and French horn. In February of 2013, AJ was given the “Outstanding Piano Soloist” award at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival.
AJ completed a Master’s degree in Piano Performance at Boise State University in December 2017.
AJ was the band director for 12 years at North Star Charter School before deciding to branch out and create Allegro Jams Music Academy. His favorite part about teaching at North Star was the unique opportunity to start students in 6th grade and watch them grow and develop through middle school and high school. It was a wonderful experience to join students on their 7-year musical journey.
Apart from his family and music, AJ enjoys mountain biking and volleyball.
